Remains of at least eleven victims of the 1992-1995 war were found in a drained artificial lake in the town of Perucac on the border between Bosnia and Serbia. The Serbian war crimes prosecutors office said the victims were killed by a Bosnian Serb paramilitary group called White Eagles. Its leader, Milan Lukic, was sentenced to life imprisonment in July 2009 by the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague.
