Former Kosovo minister Haraqija acquitted

Kosovo's former culture minister Astrit Haraqija, who was sentenced by ICTY to five months in prison in December for intimidating a war crimes witness, was cleared on appeal.

The ICTY acquitted Haradinaj in April last year of charges of "ethnic cleansing", including murder and torture of minority Serbs, after a trial marked by the reluctance of several witnesses to testify.
