Kosovo pushes ahead with trade ban

The head of the Foreign Trade Department in Kosovo, Safet Grcaliu, said Kosovo will push ahead with a ban on the import of goods from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, effective January 1, 2009.

The Serbian Chamber of Commerce says this would be in violation of the Central European Free Trade Agreement — which Serbia, Bosnia and Kosovo all signed in 2007.
