Kosovo Protection Corps disbandment in December

The Kosovo Protection Corps (KPC) will formally cease to exist on December 10, 2008, according to Kosovo's security committee announced. Some of the 2,500 current KPC members will be transferred to the Kosovo Security Force, which will begin operating under KFOR in June 2009.
