Bosnia war suspect on trial in Norway

A Bosnian-born Norwegian citizen, Mirsad Repak, pleaded not guilty in Norway. He is accused of having mistreated civilian detainees during the Bosnian conflict in 1992, while he was a member of the paramilitary Croatian Defence Forces.

Norway adopted new laws dealing with war crimes, abolishing any statute of limitations.
