Macedonia rejects UN proposal in name dispute

Macedonian prime minister Nikola Greuevski rejected the latest proposal of UN mediator Matthew Nimetz in the name dispute with Greece.

"One of the ideas was to have a single name for international use. This is unacceptable for us," Greuevski said, "we agreed on certain issues, but this is something that we cannot accept. (...) There is no sense in continuing the negotiations."
